My interest in art began at about age seven when my teacher introduced me to finger-paint.
In the early fifties, I learned to draw from a book by Walter T. Foster, titled: How to Draw Cats.
I like the way frames enhance the image, similar to the way our environment places us in a particular framework which may in some way, influence our life.
After the 1950s, I went on to learn about other mediums and painting styles.

I created a painting in early 1970, based on this drawing that I completed in 1956.
One of my neighbors liked it so much that I gave it to her before I was able to take a photo. It looked like stained glass.
